How long after I purchase my monument does it take for it to be installed in the cemetery?
Domestic granite generally takes 6-8 months and imports are 8-12 months from APPROVAL of the drawing. If the cemetery is soggy from down pours of rain this may delay the installation of your monument. We don't want to rut up your cemetery with our heavy equipment.
Where does granite come from?
Granite is a very tough rock that is quarried out of the ground. Most of the Grey Granite that is commonly seen in cemeteries comes from Elberton, Georgia. The link attached goes into more detail on the granite formation http://www.egaonline.com/learn/granite-facts
What is the biggest advantage to purchasing a pre-need monument?
Purchasing your monument now takes the financial and emotional burden off of your family in years to come.
I can not visualize what it will look like. Can you show me?
Yes. We have an in house drafter that can sit down with you and show you exactly what the monument will look like once its completed.
If we buy from a monument company on-line will you install it for us?
No. Because the financial burden of any chipped or cracked pieces would fall on our company not the one you purchased from on-line.
Was the final date included in the price of the monument when it was purchased.
No. We do not charge for any future engraving that will have to be done. Whomever is over your estate needs to call us at that time and contract us to take care of that.
How much do monuments cost?
Purchasing a monument does not have to cause a burden on you financially. We have monuments from all price ranges. Small flat monuments that lie close to the ground start around $500, and more complex monuments that stand up can be as much as $10,000.
Do you offer lay-a-way or payment plans?
Yes. We offer an 8 month lay-a-way plan. With a non-refundable deposit you can place a monument on lay-a-way and pay when it's convenient for you. This plan locks in the price on the contract for 8 months. Monuments are not ordered or installed until full payment has been received.
